In 1978 Colin and Laurie took their fixture fees from selling their rented NYC loft and bought an abandoned 100 year old dairy barn. They did 90% of all phases of the demolition and renovation. The loft became their studio and the barn yard was transformed into gardens. "Leaning Post" refers to the post and beam structure of the barn. The renovation and construction continues as the their studios expand...
